Like fingerprints, your smile is unique. So why shouldn’t your orthodontic treatment be too?
Your treatment options may vary for both adults and children including fixed braces, removable appliances, clear aligners, and more. Your dentist will recommend the best option for you, after assessing your teeth and mouth condition. In some complex cases, this may include referring you to a specialist orthodontist.
At Griffith Dental Lounge we like to offer our patients the very best in orthodontic technology, and we are proud to offer our patients Damon System braces.
With the Damon System, treatment time is typically shorter than with conventional braces, with fewer appointments. Damon System braces use a unique slide mechanism that minimizes friction and reduces pressure on your teeth allowing them to move passively and more comfortably into their correct positions. This revolutionary new approach ensures greater comfort during treatment.
Damon braces are designed to be discreet, comfortable, and easy to keep clean. Without the elastic ties which attract and collect plaque, Damon braces make dental hygiene easy during treatment. Plus the Damon System is available in clear brackets for those image-conscious patients.
Certified Damon System doctors combine three key components, which when used together, deliver faster treatment, fewer appointments, greater comfort, and consistent high-quality results:
- Damon passive self-ligating braces eliminate the need for elastic or metal ties. With Damon tie-less braces you can experience treatment without tightening.
- Light high-technology shape-memory wires, move teeth faster, and require fewer adjustments.
- A new clinically proven treatment approach aligns your teeth and enhances your facial aesthetics—usually without extractions or rapid palatal expanders.
Traditional braces are tied in with elastics, which cause friction and pressure, making treatment slower and less comfortable. Damon braces use a slide mechanism to hold the wire, which allows teeth to move more freely, quickly, and comfortably.
